We thought it best to support the debate at Clark College of candidates for the 3rd Congressional District and so moved the meeting of Citizens for Sensible Values to next week on Thursday, July 15th Citizens for Sensible Values is dedicated to bringing back the core values of Honesty, Integrity, Family, and Servant Leadership to government at all levels. Our goal is to elect candidates that share our ethical values and work to help them bring about this change. We also believe that a governmental focus on Creating Blue Collar Jobs for our working families, good governmental stewardship of our financial resources, public safety, and local control of K-12 education are essential for family well being, community, and parental support. Instead of working against one another to schedule candidates, we decided to work together as independent organizations and attempt to coordinate a joint event. We have finally receive RSVPs from the necessary candidates to fill the chairs at Battleground High School. The format is to have 30 mins for C4L, 30 mins for WTP, and 60 mins for public Q/A with two podiums and a moderator to ensure balanced participation between candidates.
