David Madore , founder, owner and CEO of U.S. Digital, filed on Tuesday, May 15 as a candidate for Clark County Commissioner, Dist 2.
U. S. Digital is a vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of high-tech components. “We export to the world. We don’t ship any jobs overseas. We employ 122 people with great jobs,” Madore said.
"Many people in Clark County are hurting due to the loss of private sector jobs and the closing of businesses. This, along with the alarming growth of government must be turned around. Government can drive jobs away and discourage businesses from locating in our area and growing in our area. The role of local government is to provide a healthy and encouraging environment where businesses can thrive.”
Madore is running to foster local private jobs by lowering taxes, fees and over-regulation. He also believes local government should stop wasting gas taxes on the CRC Light Rail Tolling Boondoggle and give citizens a vote on light rail. Madore states he believes in sound financial debt-free principles that foster innovation, efficiency, creativity and resourcefulness.
"I am motivated to make our friends and neighbors successful", said Madore.
